Recently, I completed Coursera’s ‘Extract, Transform and Load Data in Power BI’ course, which is a crucial component of the Microsoft Power BI Analyst Professional Certificate, and I’m excited to share my experience and recommendations.

I gained practical experience in cleaning, shaping, and transforming data to ensure accuracy and consistency. This includes handling missing values, changing data types, unpivoting columns, and merging queries β all vital steps before any meaningful analysis can occur.
**Advanced ETL in Power BI** took things a step further. Here, we focused on the ‘Load’ aspect of ETL, understanding data profiling techniques, and working with advanced queries. This module really solidified my understanding of how to optimize the data loading process and ensure data integrity throughout the pipeline.
